Biography

Hongbo Tang is an associate chief physician and aesthetic medicine attending physician at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Tang graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine, West China University of Medical Sciences in 2000 and from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2009, receiving a doctoral degree. After graduation, Dr. Tang worked in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From March 2015 to September 2016, Dr. Tang conducted postdoctoral research at Radboud University Medical Center in the Netherlands.

Specializes in repair of various ear deformities such as microtia, prominent ear, and cup ear; periorbital plastic surgery such as double eyelid surgery, blepharoplasty for eye bags, excisional brow lift, and medial and lateral canthoplasty; comprehensive rhinoplasty; minimally invasive excision and radiofrequency treatment of axillary osmidrosis; flap repair of complex facial lesions; liposuction and body contouring for multiple body areas; and facial minimally invasive aesthetic treatments such as facial slimming, wrinkle reduction, autologous fat grafting, hyaluronic acid filler injection, and scar revision.
